About Moor Barton Wilding

Moor Barton Wilding is a Community Interest Company dedicated to rewilding land and people. The project  is located on the north east shoulder of Dartmoor and manages 120 acres made up of Moor Barton Woods on the south west of the Trenchford Stream and Trenchford Woods on the north east. The land is made up of a mosaic of ecologically rich habitats and is a key site on Dartmoor for species reintroduction. Believing that humans are part of nature with a key role to play in restoring our ecological systems, Moor Barton Wilding engages communities near and far, offering many opportunities to learn about and get involved in different aspects of rewilding. Follow the links below to find out more about our vision & approach, history and community.

Moor Barton Wilding is grateful to be supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, South West Water,

Farming in Protected Landscapes and The Halleria Trust.
